However, bearings for instrument or high-speed use shall be cleaned with clean oil to remove the antirust agent coated on the bearings. General grease lubrication, do not clean, directly fill with grease. Moreover, bearings sealed with grease can be used directly without cleaning. The bearing with rust inhibitor removed is easy to rust, so it can not be placed regardless. When it is installed on the shell, there is usually more clearance fit, and the outer ring has interference. It is usually pressed in by a press, or there is a cold shrinkage fit method for installation after cooling. When dry ice is used as coolant and cold shrinkage is used for installation, the moisture in the air will condense on the surface of thrust self-aligning roller bearing. Therefore, appropriate anti rust measures are required.

  After continued operation and entering the later stage of use, the vibration and noise of the self-aligning roller bearing began to increase, and sometimes abnormal sound appeared, but the change of vibration increase was slow. At this time, the bearing kurtosis began to suddenly reach a certain value. We believe that the bearing shows initial failure at this time.

  At this time, it is required to closely monitor the self-aligning roller bearing and pay close attention to its changes. Thereafter, the bearing kurtosis value begins to decrease rapidly and approaches the normal value, while the vibration and noise begin to increase significantly, and the increase amplitude begins to accelerate. When the vibration exceeds the vibration standard (such as ISO2372 standard), the bearing kurtosis value also begins to increase rapidly. When both the vibration standard and the kurtosis value exceed the normal value (kurtosis relative standard can be used), We believe that the bearing has entered the late fault production, so it is necessary to overhaul the equipment and replace the bearing in time.

  The bearing shows the characteristics of late fault. The time from the occurrence of serious fault (generally bearing damage, such as shaft holding, burn, sand frame spalling, raceway, bead wear, etc.) is mostly less than one week. The larger the equipment capacity, the faster the speed, and the shorter the interval. Therefore, in the actual bearing fault diagnosis, once the late fault characteristics are found, the fault of thrust self-aligning roller bearing should be determined and the maintenance should be arranged as soon as possible.
